What We’re Building

Information Professionals (content strategists, content engineers, knowledge managers, data scientists, and more) are essential to how organizations function, but we’re lacking a shared home or common standards. So we are building a professional association to equip individuals and organizations to make information ready for the future.

We're in the early stages but momentum is real and growing fast.

Early Traction

All volunteer-led by a passionate and dedicated Steering Committee, we’ve accomplished a lot within just a few months in our spare time:

  • Established 501(c)(3)
  • Hosting monthly virtual meetups (example: 54 registered for November meetup)
  • ~75 people in our Slack workspace
  • 125+ newsletter subscribers
  • 300+ LinkedIn followers
  • Curriculum in development with guidance from a Virginia Tech professor

The energy is here and Founding Sponsors will help formalize and scale it.

We’re seeking Founding Sponsors who understand the value of professionals in the information or content industry.

  • Founding Partner $25K–$50K: Large Enterprises Non-voting advisory role, quarterly strategy sync, co-branded thought leadership, premium exhibition presence, 10 certifications.
  • Innovation Partner $10K–$15K:Tech Vendors Annual demo slot, non-commercial speaking at conference, vendor resource guide, 5 certifications.
  • Community Sponsor $5K:Mid-size / Consultancies Chapter/webinar sponsorship, newsletter recognition, 3 certifications.
  • Supporting Member $2.5K: Tools and Services Directory listing, event discounts, 1 certification.
